This policy explains what personal data Marevanta collects, why, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We keep data collection to the minimum.

Who is responsible

What we collect

• Email address — only if you join the First-to-Stay list, and only with your consent.
• Preferences — your language and light/dark choice are stored locally in your browser (not sent to us).
• Anonymous usage statistics — aggregate, cookieless analytics (no personal profiling).

Why & legal basis

We use your email solely to send you updates about Marevanta's opening and inaugural stays. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep your email until Marevanta opens and you have decided whether to stay, or until you unsubscribe — whichever comes first. You can unsubscribe from any email or by writing to us.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. Emails are sent through our email provider (Resend) and the site is hosted on Vercel; both act as processors under GDPR. No data is transferred beyond what is necessary to deliver these services.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or erase your data, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email hello@staymarevanta.com.

Cookies

Marevanta does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Only essential local storage (your language and theme preference) is used, which does not require consent.
